Lyliane® Microbase was born as a leather support material and as a base for polyurethane finishings.
Lyliane® Microbase has the same structure and mechanical resistance as genuine leather, but is 30% lighter.
Its main pecularity is a always perfectly round and full hand. Compared to Lyliane® Suede it is more stiff and is used in articles that need more support.
Extremely malleable and ductile for each process, it has made possible an infinity of typical patterns of products conceived in recent years where the finest leathers alone would not have the right consistency.
In addition, having excellent color fastness on the rib and high tear resistance, its use is also optimal for shoulder straps or belts.
The standard colors are black and white but can be dyed as needed.
